BRASIL SWEETS AT 2011 BRAZILIAN FESTIVAL!!

Hey guys!!

Brasil Sweets started off with a bang at the 2011 Festa Junina Brazilian Festival !

Every year the Brazilian association of Victoria (ABRISA) celebrates the traditional Brazilian festival FESTA JUNINA which is a winter festival filled with typical music, food and dancing. It took place on the 2nd of July and Brasil Sweets was there!

This year for the first time Brasil Sweets participated in the festival with a stall selling all our wonderful products!
After days of preparation, we were finally ready to sell our sweets to the general public, and with almost everyone at the festival being brazilian born or brazilian descendent, we knew our sweets were going to sell, but what we didn't expect was how popular they would be!!
On the first couple of hours we had sold almost half of all the sweets we had and people kept coming for more and more!
With still hours to go at the festival and the music still playing our catchy tunes we had completely SOLD OUT everything we had made!! We were so pleased with everyones feedback and reaction to the sweets and we had plenty of inquiries for catering and even some orders!

The biggest reaction we had on the day was on the quality of our products and the wonderful taste of the sweets! I guess it reminded people of back home :)

The festival was so much fun and in true Brazilian style there was plenty of dancing and everybody had a good time!
Make sure you make it next year, this is a festival you should be sure not to miss out!

here are some pictures of the night!
